PtSA Gauteng is proud to announce several significant achievements and updates that highlight the ongoing growth and development within the region’s TDM industry. From employment of graduates to strategic partnerships and expansion efforts, PtSA is leading the way in advancing skills and supporting the industry’s needs.

100% Employment for 2018 Graduates

The industry has fully employed all graduates from the PtSA Gauteng class of 2018, a testament to the high-quality training and skills development provided by PtSA. This milestone underscores the demand for skilled professionals in the tooling, die, mould, and assembly systems sectors.

Furthermore PtSA Gauteng has employed a new full-time Assessor, while the previous Assessor has been promoted to a National Moderator position.

Industry Growth: New Members and Partnerships

The Gauteng region has also seen an influx of new members, with 10 companies joining the PtSA network. This includes:

  • 7 Industry Members
  • 1 Associate Member
  • 2 Registered Professional Members

In addition to expanding its membership base, PtSA Gauteng has partnered with various skills development providers and is actively negotiating with other institutions to broaden its skills offerings in South Africa.

Expansion of Toolrooms

As workloads continue to rise, several companies in Gauteng are expanding their Toolroom in lieu of machines and equipment due to increasing workloads, and we are happy to say that graduates are being employed to satisfy the skills demand in Gauteng.
