PtSA is pleased to announce the appointment of Angus Padua as Regional Manager for the Western Cape. With extensive experience in the South African manufacturing sector, particularly in the Tool, Die, and Mould Making industries, Angus brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the role.
His career began with an apprenticeship at Atlantis Diesel Engines, where he honed his skills on the bench before earning a degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration. Over the past 25 years, he has built a highly successful career in manufacturing, specialising in process engineering, project management, tooling design, equipment specification, lean manufacturing, and quality assurance.
As Regional Manager, Angus will lead the PtSA Western Cape team, ensuring strong support for the Tool, Die, Mould, and Special Machining industries. In addition, he will drive the expansion of PtSA’s Centre of Excellence in the Western Cape, which will incorporate a national research and development capability and launch master toolmaker training—a significant step in strengthening South Africa’s tooling industry.
