5 Axis Training Capacity & Networking Event
PtSA members are invited to attend the launch of the 5 Axis training capacity & networking event which will be held at the PtSA Western Cape Centre of Excellence on Thursday, 16 May 2024.
The DMU 40 is a 5-axis simultaneous machine that impresses with its universal character, high precision and ergonomics and CELOS with the latest control technology. It is compact, with a footprint of less than 5.1 m2
What is 5-axis Control Machining?
- More flexible machining method that can be done on a machine with three linear axes (X, Y and Z) and additional two swivel rotary axes.
- Additional swivel rotary axes enable machining of more extensive areas in one setup.
- Machining is mainly grouped into two types depending on how the additional two axes are used.
