Benchmarking

PtSA Benchmarking Programme, in partnership with the WBA (Werkzeugbau Akademie) the world leader in tooling specific research and consulting, is designed to evaluate the services and processes of the South African Tool, Die, and Mould industry against global leaders in the tooling sector.

The 2021 PtSA National Benchmarking Report, comparing the overall results from 2020 and 2014, is now available for review.

Benchmarking

In this phase the current status of the company in the Tooling Industry is measured using the WBA benchmarking process.

This also facilitates the growth of the supplier base for the benefit of the larger corporates, and in particular the OEM’s.

In this phase a specific improvement plan is developed for implementation.

PtSA facilitates the funding of selected productivity improvements for member companies.

Modernisation of company capabilities is the focus of this phase.
