Eastern Cape TDM Industry Networking Event Breakfast

Unlocking Potential. Building Futures.

On Friday, 12 June 2026, the PtSA Centre of Excellence in the Eastern Cape buzzed with energy as industry leaders, manufacturers and innovators gathered for the Eastern Cape TDM Industry Networking Event, bringing together over 50 delegates from across the region’s manufacturing and tooling sector. What an event it turned out to be!

Generously sponsored by DG Capital, the event attracted representatives from companies including GUD Holdings, Jendamark, S4 Integration, Lumotech, All Tool Engineering, CRH Africa, Injection Technik, Momentum, Newbreed Holdings, Robbie Deyzel CNC, Adient, AIDCEC, T3 Incubation, the NMB Business Chamber, Volkswagen Engineering Group Africa, and many more.

The Programme

The morning opened with an insightful presentation on Forex & Freight by Ryan Booysen of DG Capital, setting the tone for a morning packed with practical value and industry relevance.

This was followed by our headline panel discussion: “Shaping the Future: How Strategic Collaboration Can Unlock Eastern Cape’s Industrial Potential”

Our panellists, Bob Williamson (PtSA), Gideon Smith (S4 Integration), Luvuyo Sineke (Newbreed Holdings), Marinus van Rooyen (Jendamark) and James Rodger (DG Capital), delivered a thought-provoking and energising discussion that sparked fresh thinking and meaningful dialogue around the Eastern Cape’s industrial future.

A special mention goes to Theo van Rooyen, who made his debut as a panel moderator at the event. He led the discussion with confidence and professionalism, facilitating an engaging and insightful conversation throughout.

Guests were then invited on a guided tour of the PtSA Eastern Cape facility, with the opportunity to interact directly with our Toolmaking students, a powerful reminder of why collaboration between industry and education lies at the very heart of PtSA’s mission.

The morning wrapped up with networking, snacks and refreshments, keeping the energy and conversation flowing long after the formal programme ended.

Spotlight: All Tool Engineering

We were delighted to welcome All Tool Engineering, who took the opportunity to display their products on the day. Established in 1989, All Tool Engineering has grown into a leading supplier of general and specialised tooling to the automotive press tooling industry, representing many of South Africa’s and the world’s most respected tooling brands. Their presence added further value to the morning’s programme.

Connections That Count

Events like these are about so much more than a morning out of the office. They are about building the kind of relationships that move the Eastern Cape’s manufacturing sector forward. From conversations that sparked new partnerships to introductions that opened new doors, the room was alive with possibility. And that is exactly what PtSA is here for.
