The PtSA Centre of Excellence, Gauteng was filled with smiles, proud families and plenty of celebration on 29 May as we honoured our Class of 2021 graduates.
After years of commitment and hard work, our students officially graduated from the PtSA TDM Toolmaker Apprenticeship, earning the SAQA 103177 (NQF Level 5) qualification. It was a special occasion made even more memorable by the parents, partners and loved ones who stood beside them throughout their journey.
Together, they celebrated years of dedication, perseverance and hard work that have opened the door to exciting careers within South Africa’s manufacturing sector.
A Team Effort
Behind every successful graduate is a network of people who believed in them.
This life-changing opportunity was made possible through funding from the dtic, together with the support of parents, guardians and PtSA Industry Members who continue to invest in the future of our industry.
A special thank-you goes to Tychoset for sponsoring two apprentices, and to MMServices for sponsoring another. Your investment is helping develop the skilled toolmakers our manufacturing sector needs.
Thank You to Our Sponsors
A celebration like this is only possible with the support of our partners.
Thank you to voestalpine, MMServices, Umqondo, PFERD and RGC Engineering for sponsoring the graduation event and prizes, and for helping us recognise the achievements of these outstanding graduates.
Looking Ahead
Graduation marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
Our graduates now enter the workplace with valuable technical skills, practical experience and the confidence to make a real contribution to South Africa’s manufacturing industry.
To every graduate, congratulations on this incredible achievement. You have earned this moment, and we are excited to see where your careers will take you.
