The partnership was formalised during an official signing ceremony held at the PtSA Admin Hub in Centurion, Pretoria. This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in PtSA’s mission to modernise the industry and bridge the skills gap with cutting-edge digital solutions.

The event brought together key leadership figures from both organisations to witness the beginning of this strategic alliance:
- Stillam Group: Ryan Scott and Bryn Labuschagne.
- Hexagon Group: Steffen Dilger, San Reddy, and Shiven Sukraj.
- PtSA: Bob Williamson, Francois Beetge, Peter Paulse, Bronwyn du Randt, Charl Labonte, and Ruann Grobbelaar.

EdgeCAM is an industry-leading CAM system for CNC programming. By integrating this software into PtSA’s training ecosystem, the agreement ensures:
- TDM Powered apprentices will gain hands-on experience with the same high-end tools used by global manufacturing leaders.
- PtSA facilities will be equipped to teach advanced machining strategies, reducing the learning curve for new entrants into the workforce.
- Members will benefit from a workforce that is already proficient in the latest software, leading to faster turnaround times and higher precision in production.
